| Full Description/Abstract | Members of the GST gene family were identified on the basis of sequence homology to known GSTs. Protein sequences of approximately ten known GSTs were used as queries to identify Arabidopsis GSTs using BLAST. These new putative GSTs were then used as queries until no new sequences were identified. The 53 GSTs were subdivided into 7 groups based on phylogenetic analysis and intro:exon structure. |
